Koh Lanta a paradis in Thailand

You come to Koh Lanta if you are looking for a slightly calmer atmosphere with nice beaches and good food. We at House in Lanta are located at Klong Dao beach, which is closest to the town of Saladan, where the ferry arrives and the dive boats depart from.

If you want to go to Krabi, Phuket or the Phi Phi islands, you go from the Saladan pier. when you are in Saladan you realize that it is not that big and it is easy to find there. Closest beach to Saladan is Klong Dao and the next beach is Long beach who together with Klong Dao are the most popular beaches on Koh Lanta with fine sand, good water and lots of good food nearby.

There are also more nice beaches further down such as Klong Kong, Klong Nin. It’s easy to get around the island by tuk tuk, bus or renting your own moped or why not rent a bicycle? The diving and snorkelling is fantastic with a vibrant palette of colors underwater.

If you want to shop, most of it can be found along the streets on the island, where there are plenty of small market stalls selling clothes, jewelry, food and more.
